to alleviate the hydrostatic slab pressure we installed a perimeter track system, and 2 separate sump pumps and crocks, both with individual highwater alarms we also installed a french drain at the bottom of the cement stairs going into the basement to prevent rain water from getting on the basement floor. part of this project also involved repouring the entire concrete floor.
